Regular Residential and Commercial Moves
We understand that your clients are important and that is why ZIP Moving and Storage, with over 10+ years of experience with residential and commercial moves, is the perfect choice. Your clients items are valuable and significant, which is why we offer packing services, protection of the items, as well as, assembly and disassembly of furniture and office equipment.
Receiving of items
- Inspection of each item
- Inventory list of all items
- Notifications for each shipment
We would accept your shipment from vendors and check the conditions of the package. If any damaged packages arrive, we’d contact you to see what the next steps are.
Storage of the items
Sometimes shipments take too long and others happen extremely fast. ZIP will place each Shipment in our climate controlled storage till everything is ready. Storage space used is based on the size of the shipment and the size of the inventory. Storage can be used for short term or long term services.
White Glove Delivery
Once you have the date established for installation, you will reach out to the warehouse manager for available time slots. We double check the inventory and prepare for the desired date. All details and specifics for installation are coordinated together with you.
Additional Services
In-store Pickup
If you are not available to pick up your shipment, ZIP is able to pick up items from warehouses or vendors and deliver to our facility or drive to another location.
Disposal services
Disposal of any packing materials and furniture is also available as an additional service – i.e. dispose of items when there is no area at the job site to take trash to.
Discard Services
If damaged items are received from vendors and they refuse to pick them up, or they require you to dispose of them, ZIP would be able to handle the disposal. This also applies to furniture or items after installation is complete.
Viewing and pickup
In cases where you need to pick up an item or you’d want to see it, you’d be able to visit the warehouse. Manager of the warehouse would schedule and assist you to get the item. Keep in mind, the amount of items for pickup is limited depending on the project.
