What is the timeframe to file a claim?

It would be best to file a claim within 45 days of the completed move. The specific timeframe to file a claim is dependent on the moving contract, which you can find on your Bill of Lading. This timeframe can vary depending on the regulations stated in your contract and the company’s policies.

Will I be contacted once I file a claim?

Once the claim has been submitted, you will receive contact within 24-72 hours via email. Additional communication will be conducted via email exclusively.

Do I need to send over photos?

Yes!
For furniture damage, we require at least one photo displaying the full item and at least one photo showing the close up of the damage, for each damaged item.

For property damage, clients are encouraged to take as many photos as possible. However we recommend at least 2 photos showing the damage from different angles (ideally one photo displaying the damage next to something of comparable size – measuring tape, ruler, etc.).
